I am a Holistic Therapist based in the centre of Bideford. I have recently opened Bideford Wellbeing Centre - The Holistic Approach to Life, with my colleague, Catherine Evans.
I first qualified in Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Reiki Stage 1 in 1999. Since then I have also trained in Holistic Body Massage, Reiki up to Master level, and the Metamorphic Technique. I also have a Certificate in Basic Counselling Skills.
I have worked for several years on Pamper Days for Carers, and have organised very successful Pamper days for a local charity. I have worked with various client groups including carers, the elderly, children, people with mental health issues and those who just need some time for themselves. I understand that everybody's needs are very individual and therefore I incorporate all the skills I have to offer an overall holistic treatment. I believe that complementary therapy is an essential tool in keeping the mind, body and spirit healthy and able to cope with life.
At Bideford Wellbeing Centre various talks are held about once a month usually on a Thursday evening in the Meditation Room, details of these are on the Bideford Wellbeing Centre website http://www.bidefordwellbeingcentre.co.uk/ . We also run various workshops, Taster Days and Wellbeing Days at the Centre.
