All my working life I have been involved with health and healing. I qualified as a physiotherapist in 1977 and worked extensively in the NHS and the private sector in London covering a variety of disciplines: rheumatology, orthopaedics, general medical and surgical, cardio-thoracic, intensive care and musculoskeletal outpatient work.
In 1984 I was running a private physiotherapy practice within the health club I had in Nairobi, Kenya. It was at this point in my career that I realised how important an holistic approach is to health. I started to concentrate on people's nutritional status, emotional well-being as well as their physical fitness.
I developed rheumatoid arthritis in 1987 and on my journey back to full health I discovered many complementary therapies (and tried most of them!) until I found what worked for me - what I needed.
Since qualifying as a spiritual healer and counsellor (2004) I address my clients on all levels of their being: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. I am very mindful that it is my privilege to work with those seeking health, to help them find what they need on every level of their being.
I work from home and make home visits. Treatments can also be arranged at Crediton Complementary Health Centre.
I am a member of theChartered Society of Physiotherapy, Institute of Counselling, Spiritualist National Union, the No Hands Massage Association and carry full public liability and indemnity insurance for each association and practise in accordance with their strict Code of Ethics and Practice.
I facilitate workshops on the creative power of thought, soul awareness and healing and offer courses on meditation.
